Tea Party

First I would like to thank Mandy for the lovely candy which I was lucky enough to win the other week, I shall enjoy using them, thank you again Mandy.

I would also like to say hello to my three new followers, I hope you will enjoy visiting my blog. I am looking forward to having a look at your blogs this evening.

Yesterday morning my hubby went off to pick up some narrow water butts, as he is a keen gardener and loves growing some of our vegetables.  It had started to rain before he went and it never stopped the whole of yesterday, he was disappointed as he couldn't get out to fit them to the guttering.  This afternoon it cleared up and he finally attached them to the guttering, of course it hasn't rained since.

Finished a card last night and realised that I didn't have that many flowers to go with the colours.  So will have to invest in some different colours.

The paper pack I used for this card is called Kitschy Kitchen, I was out shopping with my daughter Kent Crafter and we decided to split the pack as we had both spent too much on craft goodies that month.

For the this card I used the following:-

Image from Beth Gunnell
Promarkers
Blue and pink card from stash
Pattern paper
Memory box corner die
Whimsy vine die
X cut die
Buttons
Flowers and ribbon from stash

Hippee Girl

Would like to say hi to my new follower, thank you for taking the time to look at my blog.

I was expecting nothing but rain this weekend but have managed to get quite a bit of washing  out and dried.  My electricity bill arrived Friday and I was shocked at how much it was, admittedly we have had the heating on quite a bit and had to use the tumble dryer or else we would have no clothes to wear, but even so it was terribly high.   With my husband being made redundant some time in the next few months I will have to think of ways to cut down on bills, worse thing would be crafting items - silently screaming and stamping feet.

I am not sure how I found this site, but through looking at one thing and another, I ended up with this image called Hippee from Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps.  The site has some really lovely images.

For this card I used the following:

Image from Stitchy Bear
Promarkers
Papers from Making Memories Simply Fabulous Collection
Memory box die
Tonic butterfly punch
Sizzlet corner punch
Flowers from stash
Glitz glitter glue
Papermania pearls

Molly's Present

I was very pleased to see that I had been given an Honourable Mention from The Shabby Tea Room for my card.  Thank you very much.

I have decided to finally have a sort out of my craft items and use all the papers and stamps that have been bought or been free with magazines and use them.   I am just running out of space.  I have lots of odd paper that I am now determined to use up so apologies for not letting you all know what company they are from.

I had this stamp which came with a magazine about a year ago, it had this cute image along with a boy, cupcake and three sentiments, so decided it was time to actually use them. I used Glitz glitter glue on the butterflies but it is not very clear in the picture.

For this card I used the following:
Image and sentiment from Molly Blooms
Promarkers
Pink card and patterned card from stash
Memory Box Leaf die
Tonic Butterfly punch
X cut oblong die
Papermania pearls
Kars pink pearls
Glitz Glitter Glue on butterflies

Sassy Cupcake

I would like to say hi to my two new followers, I hope you enjoy looking at my blog.

Unfortunately last week there didn't seem to be enough time to get things done and so it was off to Tesco's, Iceland and Wilkinsons on Sunday, it was the fastest I had shopped in years, managed to do it all in 1hr, unfortunately it took me two to get it in the cupboards.  That meant no crafting till the evening and then it was interrupted by ironing.   Of course it didn't help that they didn't want jacket potatoes for dinner, so eventually had to cook the Sunday roast.   My husband appears to prefer dinner to crafting - honestly men.

On this card I used some patterned card from Papermania, this was an excellent buy last year from the Range, for £9.99  you got a 12 x 12 plastic box and 60 sheets of double-sided card.  That made it only 17p a sheet and  a free box.  A bargain.

On this card I used the following:

Image from Bugaboo called Cupcake Girl
Promarkers
Patterned card from Papermania
Red card from Stash
Red ribbon - given to me by my daughter
Red spotted buttons from Stash
Doily from Stash
Pearls from Papermania
Glossy accents for cherry and shoes

I would like to put this in for the following challenge:

Cupcake Delight

Hi everyone, finally had a morning making my card, but if it could go wrong it did.  Finally after throwing things away and screaming I made this card.  The paper with the ribbon attached has been in my cupboard for about two years, I opened the pack on buying and then put it away now I have no idea what company it is from. The image was from a set of stamps I had from a magazine which I had not got around to using, I think it was Quick Cards Magazine and they were designed by Beth Gunnell.

For this card I used the following:

Promarkers
Sentiment from magazine freebie
Patterned paper from Nana's Kitchen DCVW and from stash

Time for a Birthday

This is going to be a quick note and post as I have company coming in a couple of hours and masses to do before they arrive.  I needed a few cards for my sister she wanted ones that could survive the postal system.  Mainly for people that live far away and she doesn't get to see very often.    So I haven't added flowers or large embellishments.

For this card I used the following:

Image - Nikki from Ladybug Crafts Ink
Promarkers
Papermania Pearls
Computer typed sentiment
Sizzix Tim Holtz Alterations Weathered Clock
Candy
Papers Making Memories - Simply Fabulous Collection
Purple card from stash

Have a good Easter everyone.

Dressed up Teddy

This is my second post of the day, scroll down for my first post.  This wooden stamp came from my Penpal in America and it has no name on it, so have no idea what company this comes from.  Like my Nikki stamp I won these lovely papers from Pami's Candy (you can find the link to her blog on my first post of the day).
For this card I used two sketches which are very similar to each other:
